Recently we were part of an awesome project, and let me say it was amazing to collaborate with Little Monsters Dog Care and Training. It was an awesome experience to film this commercial. First time ever that we have ever film dogs as our protagonists for a video.

This beautiful white labrador was one our talents for the day.

We had lots of fun on this project, Silvana de Jesus the owner of Little Monsters Dog Care was very involved with this project and we love that about our clients. Her combined skills in Industrial Organizational Psychology, background in business, and her love for animals has allowed her to transform this passion into a reality. We are just happy that we were able to get her even closer to reaching her goals.

In this video we used the Panasonic GH4 with the Metabones adapter for Canon EF to M4/3 for mirrorless cameras. We filmed in 4K and exported to 1080p. Since we had to move around a lot we needed an easy set up to go film and capture these fur babies, cause man they were full of energy. We stuck with Canon 24mm for most of the shots. But we used mainly prime like the Canon 100mm and the 14mm cine lens from Rokinon and yes quick zooms could have been better. But we wanted this shots to be shot on primes. We ran mostly with some easy portable led lights, a shoulder cam, and a tripod.

As far as editing goes we used Adobe Premier Pro, then we color graded with the film emulation software FilmConvert. Both tools make things easier to edit and color. The most thrilling part of this video was when the pack of dogs were running on the dog park with Silvana and they came running straight at us and missed us by a hair, phew. At the end of the day we got our shot.

Everything came together nicely and we made an awesome video for Silvana and for her little monsters. Below is the finished video. Hope you guys enjoy the video as much as we enjoyed making it.
